Support Groups

Grieving Moms Finding Hope groups are for moms who mourn the death of a child under any circumstance and are searching for hope and healing. These groups are a good place to link arms with other moms on this grieving journey. Your group will meet for twelve weeks with the book Resurfacing, written by Jacke Rose (formerly known as Jacke Van Woerkom) who lost her son by suicide in 2016.

**Please put the group dates and times on your calendar, make reminders of the meetings and attend if you sign up. We have had many moms join a group and never show up. It is disheartening to our leaders who have set aside time to facilitate the meetings for you.  The leader would appreciate a text or email if you know you’re not attending. We want to be here for you and lead you toward hope and healing. 

Average group time is 60-90 minutes once a week .

Please note  that  all times are Pacific Time Zone  (add 1 hr for Mountain Time, add 2 hrs for Central Time, add 3 hrs for Eastern Time)

An offer of hope at a devastating time in my life

When my son died, my world went dark. The Resurfacing book helped me to find my way through the frozen darkness and offered a way back to hope. The descriptions were so true to what I was going through. The content and the support of other moms who understand what I’m feeling have made a remarkable difference in my grief journey. I thank God for inspiring Jacke to take her own loss and use it to help so many others.

This book helped me get through the loss of my son. It provides direction, hope and realistic ideas to work through the overwhelming grief of losing a child.
