Welcome to Grieving Moms Finding Hope
Grieving Moms Finding Hope was formed because Jacke Rose (Founder) saw through her own loss a need for the lonely and often a hopeless grieving mom. This organization exists to provide hope, tools and community to grieving moms. We are a Christ-Centered foundation and together we are better.
Together, we are better.
Grieving Moms Finding Hope is a faith based, compassionate community established with the heartfelt mission of supporting mothers who have experienced the profound and heart-wrenching loss of a child. Founded by Jacke Rose, herself a mother who traversed the challenging journey of grief, the organization is a beacon of hope, understanding, and strength for mothers who find themselves grappling with the overwhelming emotions of grief.
Are you struggling to find your way?
At Grieving Moms Finding Hope, we envision a world where no mother walks the path of grief alone. We aspire to be the guiding light that leads grieving mothers from the depths of despair to a place of healing and renewed purpose. Our vision is rooted in the belief that every mother’s pain is unique, and through the power of faith and community, we can find solace, understanding, and the strength to move forward.

Melody of the Mountains
I am a woman of passion, a warrior of sorts, and there is a song written by the mountain winds that play continuously in my mind. It’s the sound created as it weaves through the pines and carved-out canyons. It’s a melody without words or unidentifiable notes....
Clearing the Drain for Change

The Curtain of Hurtin
The sun announces itself through my naked window, awakening me before my wind-up alarm clock plays “Love Story.” It’s 1978, and I’m getting ready for high school. A heaviness comes over me as I walk down the familiar hallway to my mother’s bedroom, hoping to see that...
Where Grieving Moms Roam/Desolation Mountain
There is a mountain well-known to climbers, yet no one has any inclination to seek its peak. It has a very unique and delicate beauty about it. Rumor has it that many don’t survive due to its unstable terrain, the mysterious obstacles, and unpredictable weather. Some...
It’s Just a Machine
We’ve all been driving down those hot, dry, and desolate parts of the highway, noticing those unfortunate souls broken down. We’re human, so the first thing that comes to mind is, “Oh my gosh, I’m so glad it’s not us!” Typically, we assume they have a cell phone, and...
The Shadowed Stowaway
Grieving is a natural phenomenon among humans, but why must we have to say goodbye to those that we love so dearly, especially a child? I’ve acquired an unwelcome stowaway of sorts that travels with me everywhere I go. Its presence is dark, heavy, and consumes my...
To My Son in Heaven
To Randy… She’s been courageous since accepting the journey of motherhood even though it seemed impossible. As a little girl, she dreamt it would fill her heart with many days of cuddling and cooing; it was ever so soothing. Nursing in the wee hours of the night,...
